The firstというのは、前の文で述べられた"three key contributions"の一つ目ということです。

calledとallowsは第五文型の使役動詞として解釈しました。
calledは受身なので、後ろに補語(the "Integral Image")が一つ来ています。
allowsは能動態なので、後ろに目的語(the features)と補語(to be computed)が来ています。to be computedは不定詞名詞用法なので、補語になれます。

whichは関係代名詞です。whichから文末のquicklyまでが形容詞節で、"Integral Image"を修飾しています。形容詞節の内側でのwhichの働きは主語です。
